From a dream of combining both scientific fields to help people live longer, healthier lives, grew up the
Scientific Conference “Lifestyle Medicine for Longevity. Blue Zones inspiration”.
It has been held at the Poznan University of Medical Sciences in Poznan, Poland since 2023.
Look at the brief history of that Conference:
Agnieszka Pluto-Pradzynska, PhD, is the founder of „Lifestyle Medicine for Longevity. Blue Zones Inspirations” Scientific Conference. She is the Head of Lifestyle Medicine Lab at Poznan University of Medical Sciences in Poznan, Poland, and European Lifestyle Medicine Organization (ELMO) Ambassador in Poland.
In 2022 Dr Agnieszka Pluto-Pradzynska was invited by Prof. Michel Poulain, PhD to participate in research group on Ikaria, a longevity Blue Zone. Her road led through Athens and the 4th Congress of European Lifestyle Medicine Organization (ELMO). There the idea took shape during a long conversation with Prof. Robert Kelly. Her motto was a question: How can we connect inspirations from lifestyle of centenarians with LM recommendations?

Prof. Robert Kelly, MD, PhD was keynote in Lifestyle Medicine at the 1st Conference „Lifestyle Medicine for Longevity. Blue Zones Inspirations” in 2023. He is cardiologists specializing in behavioral change. Also he is a member of board of European Lifestyle Medicine Organization ELMO..
Prof. Michel Poulain, PhD, as the the founder of longevity Blue Zones was our keynote speaker.. He is astrophysicist and demographer, who verified the centenarian’s areas in the world.
